I'm just a girl
who figured it out.

I am finishing my internal medicine residency in a few weeks and stepping into my first attending role as a hospitalist. It is a milestone I am incredibly proud of — one that took more grit, resilience, and late nights than I can count.

My path was not linear. There was no blueprint, no one holding my hand through the application process, boards, or credentialing. I figured out a lot on my own — and that is exactly why I built this space.

Beyond clinical medicine, I am building toward something bigger: a telehealth practice rooted in accessibility, dignity, and real patient relationships. I believe the future of medicine is personal.

This mentorship is for everyone — especially those doing it without a roadmap and figuring it out on their own.

Board Prep
Anonymous asked:
How do you balance studying for ABIM while working full-time as a hospitalist? There is never enough time.
20 UWorld questions every single day — no exceptions, even post-call. I treat it like a morning medication. Not 50. Just 20, consistent. Burnout kills more board prep plans than lack of knowledge. Build the habit, not the marathon.

Jasmine asked:
I have a low GPA from my first two years. Is it still worth applying or should I give up?
Do not give up. A post-bacc or upward grade trend tells a story of resilience — admissions committees read that. My path was not linear either. Get the upward trend, nail the MCAT, write about growth. The low GPA is not the end of your story.

Mia asked:
How do you deal with imposter syndrome? I am an MS3 and everyone around me seems to know more.
You are not an imposter — you are an MS3. You are supposed to feel this way. Say it out loud: "I don't know, but I'll find out." That is exactly what a good doctor sounds like.
